We offer a PhD position (salary level E13/0.65) to work within the DFG-funded priority programme SPP2125 “DECRyPT” on legume root colonization and micro-territory formation using synthetic bacterial communities and fluorescently labelled marker strains. These strains and their cellular environment will be investigated using high-end live cell imaging and correlative light-electron microscopy (CLEM). The successful candidate should hold a university degree in biology or a closely related field. Experience in advanced imaging and plant biology would be highly appreciated.
