Lab technician (m/f/d)

We investigate symbiotic infection processes in plants and their transfer to crop plants. We are looking for a motivated employee with a background in molecular biology to support our working group within the framework of a major project funded by third parties, preferably as a first position after training.

Your tasks:

  • Carrying out tissue culture work and plant transformations using agrobacteria
  • Preparation of solutions and culture media
  • Assistance with general laboratory organization

Our profile – what we expect

  • Successfully completed training as a biological-technical assistant (BTA), medical-technical assistant (MTA) or chemical-technical assistant (CTA) or comparable qualification
  • Experience in molecular techniques, methods of biology and plant tissue culture is advantageous
  • IT skills (MS Office and data analysis)
  • Ability to work in a team, flexibility and communication skills as well as the willingness to actively participate in a motivated and interdisciplinary working group
  • Ability to communicate in English.
  • Commitment, sense of responsibility, reliability and willingness and pleasure in learning new working techniques
